Start with the total
A room rate, a programme fee and an inclusive retreat price can describe very different purchases. Ask for a quote covering the same dates and number of guests. The total should make clear whether meals, consultations, treatments, taxes and transfers are included.
Private programmes work differently
SENSES publishes a starting programme fee of CHF 60,000 per week, with one- and two-week formats. The final proposal confirms the individual scope. Companion costs, yacht arrangements and external services can be additional. That is a different model from booking a room and adding spa treatments.
Compare time and access
Calculate what the programme provides: individual appointments, shared classes, facility access, meals and accommodation. Resort credit is a spending allowance, not an unlimited treatment plan. Check which bookings use it and whether unused credit expires.
Ask for the overlooked items
Airport transfers, laboratory work, medication, off-site appointments, premium treatments, companions and continuing support can change the total. Ask about currency, deposits, cancellation and the cost of extending or shortening the stay. Request answers before a non-refundable commitment.
Avoid unsupported price comparisons
Published offers change, and different room types can make similar-looking prices misleading. Except where a provider publishes a clear starting rate, our profiles direct you to request current pricing. A higher price does not by itself establish better outcomes.
